To friends, the same. How "R U" Everyone?

Guess what I do every Tuesday! Go to piano classes! (Ed-My teacher's name is Miss Scarlett. ) And I made a friend. Her name is... well I forgot. I enjoy seeing my friend at piano class. I like when we sit together and listen to Miss Scarlett talking to us. She tells us stories about the Grand Staff. Sometimes we play games, too. I also like practicing and learning new songs.

At Liahona one week, I played Hot Cross Buns for a talent show. A teenage girl named Sarah in our group played a folk song... I think it was called A Melody. Jelly played Handbells, with both hands - separate hands first and then both hands.

Anyway, Jelly is sick right now. I learned about Greek and Roman things. The field trip that we went on was to a museum called the Getty Villa. We saw broken-off wall pieces, and pottery, and we also saw gardens. It was a really cool field trip. I only remember seeing two different kinds of columns - they were Ionic and Corinthian. I especially liked the kids' room there. I liked putting on shadow shows with my friends from our homeschooling group. I climbed up the amphitheater steps. It was high!

We saw four different kinds of gardens. One was an herb garden, another was a family garden, and I don't remember what the other two were called. The herb garden was also called a "kitchen garden" because they got all their fruits and vegetables and spices from the herb garden to make their food and also medicine.

I would like to go to the Getty Villa again soon.

My day today

Hi!

It's me, Doodle (or Snickerdoodle, a type of cookie). First we went to California Adventure where I got lost for a minute. We went on a ride inside of an orange called the Bee Ride. It was fun! You spin round and round and round inside it. The orange was pretty large so quite a few people could go inside.

Then we went on my traditional ride, "Dumbo," in Disneyland. It was fun!

After Disneyland we went to our cousins' house to have a sleepover. The first night of sleepover I slept up in the loft. The next morning (after the day of Disneyland) we to Poppa's (our grandpa) house. We went for a walk on the beach and we had lots of fun there. And then we went back to our cousins' house for their birthday party.

They had pineapple upside-down cake. It was good. We also had mashed potatoes, vegetables, and cheese sauce. I enjoyed the big feast. After we ate dinner, my Mommy and Daddy left our cousins' house because they said we could have an extra sleepover. Last night I slept on my Auntie's biiig bed. And sometimes, when I'm sleeping, I don't even know where I'm sleeping. I usually think I'm in my own bed. But when I wake up the next morning, I see that I'm in a different room! [Ed.: Daddy feels this way all the time.]

Then we left those cousins' house. Then we went to our other cousins' house for some lunch. We only saw Natalie and Lindsey. The other ones were at a meeting. Those ones were (if you want to know) Robyn, Stacie and Katie. The meeting was for 12 year olds and up. Then we kids went upstairs to play. Jelly played with Lindsey while I played with Natalie. We had fun!! :).

Then we left for our own house again.

My does it feel good to be home again!

That's all for now. And I wrote, "I love you Mawgs, Love, Doodle." It's for us to hang up in the hospital and cheer up Mawgs. To think about us.

And I was reading "Book of Mormon Heroes" and it's about obedience. The title is "Nephi and the Brass Plates." We have to search for things. There are pictures hidden in the story and you have to find a lot of stuff. Lehi had a dream, and his dream was that his sons needed to go back to get some brass plates, which were scriptures. The book used to belong to Grandma NanZ, and then Aunt Debby let us keep the book. The other book is called "Hidden Treasures of the Book of Mormon." And at the end of "Nephi and the Brass Plates" a little boy was, like, "What? Why is Zoram here?"

I pinched my thumb. And, at church Daddy didn't hear it, but I did my class presentation, and it was my first one. I said, "C is for children who I sit by quietly." [Ed. - Mommy loved it!] My tummy was saying it didn't want to do it. But the words came right out of my mouth. Zoom. If Britney and her Mommy and family were moving then I wouldn't have any teacher to help me do the presentation.

For goodness' sake, I made a Samantha paper doll with her own Lydia doll. Today we had school while Daddy was at work. Jelly made a veggie tray for one of her friend's family. I didn't get to help. Because this was Jelly's project for Activity Day. While Jelly and Daddy were gone, I got my computer turn. Jelly was playing Dolphin Diaries. I think at the end of the day, Daddy was reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

After we ate breakfast we did our usual routine: get dressed, brush teeth, and make bed. And then we started school.

Daddy was taking Jelly to her friend's house. By the way, now we have a new family room, but the office will soon be Jelly's room. The new family room used to be the living room. And we're used to the new school room. Daddy is now typing what I want to say. [Ed. - instead of doing some programming, which is what Daddy is supposed to be doing.] Daddy was doing a funny editor note. Which it was very, very, very, very funny. And we also did a bit of school today in our new Wonderwood Academy room, which used to be the family room. And today I got do my first grade book. Today Daddy let us have all the fun. Jelly and I, anyway. Jelly was doing a lot of typing when she had her blog today. [Ed. - Oh, yeah? This is news to me!] And for a snack we had ABC cookies and milk. And Daddy always gets haircuts from Mommy. Which she is a good barber. And, by the way, does that mean I am writing too much? No, I am not!

Well, maybe I am, a bit. But just a teeny, tiny smidge. For as long as everyone knows, I am five years old, but I'm in first grade.

For anybody, I still have long hair since I only got it trimmed today. But first I had to wash it with shampoo and water. And, I have a teeny, tiny, paper doll today. Too bad I didn't get a computer turn today. I think everybody thinks that I'm writing too much, but I'm not! Besides, who would say that I'm writing too much? [Ed. - Ooh! Ooh! Pick me! Pick me!] Oh, back to my blog:

Here's the last thing: I checked out a lot of books today at the library! And so did Jelly! For the last time, I got my haircut today.
